Angela earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Mount Mary University and obtained licensure from the State of WI as a Licensed Professional Counselor.  She has over a decade of experience working in the mental health field with diverse populations. Her background includes working with children and families through in home therapy, residential treatment, individual therapy and group therapy.  Angela has knowledge and experience with emotional and behavioral concerns, cognitive delays, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and chronic health issues. She understands not one single approach is the best for each child and family; therefore she takes an integrated approach to therapy.

Building a trusting relationship is an essential part of the therapeutic process. Angela establishes trust with her clients through the use of compassion and respect while displaying authenticity and professionalism. She believes her personal experience of growing up in a multi-cultural family provides her with a level of insight and understanding to help strengthen therapeutic relationships.
